HISTORY

In late 1999, God gave Pastor Emeritus, Rev. Dr. Linwood W. Carroll Sr. the vision to start a church in Chesterfield County, Virginia. There were 18 other souls that were in agreement with that vision and Amazing Grace World Fellowship was born. Through the years the church has had a profound impact on the community of Chesterfield, Virginia, and even the world at large. There have been foreign mission campaigns in Ghana, Nigeria, and Costa Rica, led by Pastor LaMont Wimbish, Sr. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

With great joy, we were able to purchase our current sanctuary and property in 2011 and have seen God's power and provisions all throughout our journey. In October of 2015, Rev. Dr. LaMont E. Wimbish, Sr. was installed as Senior Pastor, with a vision to move forward through service to others.  Consequently, we have seen many decisions to accept Jesus as Lord and Savior, along with numerous baptisms. We have been blessed to provide a place of service for other Ministers, and several Pastors have been licensed and ordained at Amazing Grace World Fellowship. Their journeys are documented on this website.
